Editorial Policy
In5Now covers AI-powered work. That means being selective.
We do not publish every product announcement, model benchmark or viral thread. We look for changes that can alter how people research, build, automate, collaborate or make decisions at work.
Story selection
A story needs a reason to exist. That reason may be a meaningful product change, a fast-moving trend, a durable question readers keep asking or an original synthesis that connects several developments.
Being new is not enough. We also ask whether the topic fits our audience and whether In5Now can add useful context, evidence, comparison or consequence.
Sources
Primary sources come first whenever they are available: documentation, release notes, changelogs, technical papers, official announcements, product interfaces and other direct evidence.
We use reliable secondary reporting for context, confirmation or additional perspective. Community discussions can help identify questions and real-world friction, but they are not treated as authoritative evidence for claims that can be verified elsewhere.
Claims, uncertainty and vendor language
We distinguish between established facts, vendor claims, our analysis and unresolved questions. When evidence is incomplete, the article should say so.
Updates and corrections
Technology coverage ages quickly. We may update articles when products change or new evidence becomes available. Material factual errors are corrected under our Corrections Policy.
Comparisons and reviews
Comparisons should be based on relevant capabilities, documented limitations, direct testing when practical and clearly stated criteria. A product is not declared “best” without a useful basis for the claim.
Advertising and independence
Advertising helps fund In5Now. Advertisers do not choose our editorial conclusions, receive favorable coverage in exchange for ad spending or approve independent articles before publication.
Sponsored material
If In5Now publishes sponsored or paid material, it should be clearly labeled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage.
AI and automation
AI and automation may assist parts of our publishing workflow. They do not change the standard: published claims should be supportable, useful and written for readers rather than for a content quota. More detail is available in our AI & Automation Disclosure.
