AI & Automation Disclosure
In5Now covers AI and automation, and we also use them in parts of our own workflow.
That use is practical, not ideological. Automation helps us monitor sources, organize information and reduce repetitive work. AI may assist with research organization, comparison, drafting, editing or production tasks.
What AI does not change
The publication remains accountable for what it publishes. A generated sentence is not evidence. A model summary is not a source. A confident answer is not automatically a fact.
Source-based reporting
Claims in our coverage should be grounded in sources that can support them. When possible, we prefer primary documentation, release notes, technical material and direct evidence.
Editorial judgment
Automated systems can surface patterns and candidate stories, but relevance, framing, uncertainty and reader value are editorial decisions. Some items may receive additional human review based on complexity, risk or ambiguity.
Images and other generated media
When generated or synthetic media is used, it should not be presented in a way that falsely implies it documents a real event, person or scene. Illustrative use should be appropriate to the context.
Why we disclose this
Readers should know how the publication works. We would rather be clear about the role of automation than pretend modern publishing workflows are entirely manual.
